The governent’s new housing plan will bring about a “step change” in the construction of social and affordable housing, Micheál Martin has insisted.
The Housing for All strategy has been pitched as Fianna Fáil’s chance to move away from the Rebuilding Ireland strategy launched by the Fine Gael minority government five years ago.
But there have been several reports of tensions at cabinet about how much money is going to be provided for it.
