Bizarre row had prevented TDs from voting electronically
Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae has won his battle to remain in the same Dáil seat he has occupied for five years, ending a bizarre row that prevented TDs from voting electronically for over two months.
Several independent TDs, including Healy-Rae, Mick Wallace and Clare Daly, had refused to vacate their seats to the right of the Ceann Comhairle in the horseshoe-shaped chamber.
