Local councils face penalties for slow planning decisions
The government is looking at the most substantial overhaul of planning law in 20 years
New statutory deadlines for planning decisions and the penalties associated with missing those deadlines will be devised in the coming weeks as part of major new planning legislation, an Oireachtas Committee has heard.
