The plan will require a long list of changes to people’s behaviour so that Ireland meets its targets for reducing emissions by 2030
The climate action plan is supposed to turn Ireland from an environmental laggard to a leader. It was launched yesterday by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Minister for Climate Action Richard Bruton in the Technological University Dublin – the new name for the merged DIT, IT Tallaght and IT Blanchardstown – in its Grangegorman campus.
