Labour’s White stirs pot on party leadership
European candidate wants a younger man or woman to head up the party after next election
Labour’s European election candidate in Dublin has said the party should look at leadership change after the next general election.
Alex White, a former Labour cabinet minister, said: “In the medium term, inevitably, there will be a new leader.” He added this “should be a younger man or woman”.
