Following initial tallies, Emmet Stagg looks to be in real danger of losing his seat in Kildare North after 20 years in the Dáil.

In Dublin Central, former Junior Minister Joe Costello, who was first elected to the Dáil in 1992, is also in real trouble, with Sinn Féin's Mary-Lou MacDonald looking set to top the poll while Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil, the Social Democrats and Independents all in contention for the remaining two seats....
