Judiciary urged to produce personal injury guidelines

The Minister of State for Finance Michael D’Arcy has called on judges to use their new powers to set personal injury guidelines by the end of the year.

It comes after the passage last week of legislation which will set up a judicial council staffed by judges to preside over standards in the courts.
