Housing minister seeks AG’s advice on estate fire report

The discovery of fire safety problems in boomtime developments has become a frequent occurrence in recent years

Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy has asked Attorney General Seamus Woulfe for advice on parts of a report into a devastating fire in Kildare in which six homes burned to the ground in 20 minutes.

It is understood that the incoming minister has asked the AG for his advice on the report on the fire, which took place in an estate called Millfield Manor in Kildare.
