Government: No need to relocate Irish oil reserves stored in Britain

The government has no plans to relocate Irish oil reserves stored in Britain ahead of Brexit, Minister for the Environment Richard Bruton has said.

The state is required by both the EU and the International Energy Agency (IEA) to hold 90 days’ worth of oil to safeguard against possible shortages.
