One of the key elements that people on this island have to consider in any discussion of Brexit is its implications for the peace process and, in particular, the Good Friday Agreement (GFA).

The attorney general in the North, John Larkin, has proffered his opinion that Brexit would not have any domestic legal effect on the legislation giving effect to the GFA, the Northern Ireland Act (1998).
