Gerry Adams earns €41,000 after tax
Figure includes part of his Dáil salary, book royalties and a pension
Sinn Féin has confirmed that party leader Gerry Adams earns around €41,000 annually after tax, including part of his Dáil salary, book royalties and a pension.
The party has said it will review its pay policy for all elected representatives following February’s Dáil general election and next week’s Northern Assembly election.
At present Sinn Féin TDs are paid €35,000 from their €87,258 Dáil salary, describing this as the ‘average industrial wage’.
