Fine Gael has been poking the Fianna Fáil bear for some time now about its tardiness inrenewing the confidence and supply arrangement.

Yesterday, Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin came out with his response on RTÉ’s Today with Sean O’Rourke show. And he left some paw marks on Fine Gael.

He said that suggestions from Fine Gael that Fianna Fáil was stalling the review of the confidence and supply arrangement were "asinine”.

He accused Fine Gael of having given up on health service reform and ofpromising more tax cuts when it had broken its €4 billion 2016 general election promise to abolish the Universal Social Charge.
