Fianna Fáil slams Fine Gael over ‘childish’ report on spending proposals

A new front has opened up in Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil’s growing row over the cost of opposition spending proposals.

The two largest parties have been engaged in a pre-budget spat after Fine Gael TD Peter Burke compiled a report earlier this month which estimated that Fianna Fáil proposals over the previous six months would cost the exchequer at least €4.35 billion.
