FF’s Dooley asks EU for approval of state rescue bid for broadband plan

Fianna Fáil communications spokesman Timmy Dooley has written to European Commissioner Margrethe Vestager, asking her to consider approving a state rescue plan for the beleaguered National Broadband Plan.

Dooley has publicly advocated abandoning the process as it currently stands and inviting other telecoms players and semi-states to complete the project.
