FF wants €13m Tuam cash diverted to homeless children

Fianna Fáil has called on Minister for Children Katherine Zappone to halt her plan to excavate the site of the former mother and baby home in Tuam.

There are concerns that digging up the remains of babies who were buried there will set a precedent for other mother and baby homes, as well as using up money which could be spent on children who are currently homeless.
