Ex-IMF director hits out at Mody’s bailout jibe
A former IMF deputy director has hit out against an ex-colleague who had criticised the government for failing to get a debt writedown and secure a “slower pace of austerity”.
Donal Donovan, who worked with the IMF for more than 30 years and recently finished a term with the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council, said that Dr Ashoka Mody had spoken out of turn in making his comments.
