The election of Edwin Poots as the next leader of the DUP is the party‘s “Jeremy Corbyn moment”, a party source has said.

The wing of the DUP that was backing Jeffrey Donaldson MP, who lost out by 19 votes to 17, is convinced that Poots is going to lead the party into the abyss when the Assembly elections take place in May next year.
