The more things change, the more they stay the same: nowhere is that clearer than at Dublin City Council, where the ‘Green Wave’ was perhaps the most visible trend, but some old problems still linger.

One of the main beneficiaries of that Green Wave was Hazel Chu in the Pembroke ward. In early tallies, she got about a third of the first preference votes, she told The Sunday Business Post.
