Darragh O’Brien: Homelessness remains main challenge for coalition, tax row “overplayed”

It comes as a record breaking 12,000 people access emergency accommodation last month

Homelessness remains the number one challenge for the government, the housing minister has said.

Darragh O’Brien was speaking after the latest homeless figures showed there were 12,259 people in emergency accommodation last month - a record-breaking figure for the Department.
