Cowen: tap EU fund to help Bord na Móna workers

Fianna Fáil has criticised the government for failing to tap into an EU assistance fund for Bord na Móna workers.

The semi-state company is shutting down peat harvesting operations by 2025, and 430 of its 2,000 jobs are expected to be lost over the next 12 months.
