Coveney slates Tories’ Brexit border claims
Tanáiste Simon Coveney has hit back at former British ministers who have claimed that the threat of a hard border after Brexit is ‘imaginary’.
It came after former British foreign secretary Boris Johnson said recently it was a “myth” that Ireland was facing the prospect of a hard border, while former Brexit minister David Davis said it would be “straightforward” to deal with the border issue.
