Council sets up ‘speed dating’ for housing subcontractors

Dublin City Council is running a ‘speed dating’ event to help find contractors to build almost 600 social houses.

The government has decided to get private developers to build and operate social housing complexes over a 25-year period in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Louth. The contracts are expected to be worth around €100 million.
