Builders say ‘blunt instrument’ concrete levy should still be resisted despite changes

Minister for Finance confirms levy to be reduced to 5 per cent and introduction will be delayed by five months

The lobby group representing builders has said the government’s concrete levy should still be “resisted” even after Paschal Donohoe, the Minister for Finance, announced a reduction in the tax and pushed back its introduction.
