Casey calls for dismissal of top RTÉ executive Williams

Peter Casey has accused RTÉ of being a “fan club” for Michael D Higgins during the presidential election campaign and called for one of its top executives to be sacked.

The surprise runner-up told The Sunday Business Post that RTÉ News managing director Jon Williams should be replaced over the broadcaster’s coverage.
