Most MEPs are happy to support Ireland on Brexit

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar came to the European Parliament in Strasbourg with a set of prepared messages to shore up the government's Brexit strategy.

But it was his off-the-cuff anecdote about his family connectons to England that was the most telling moment.
