Brennan’s son to run for seat in south Dublin after three nominees withdraw

Fianna Fáil has selected the son of the late transport minister Seamus Brennan to run in the Dublin-Rathdown constituency at the next general election.

Shay Brennan, who currently serves as Cathaoirleach of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Council, was selected after three other nominees pulled out of the contest on Wednesday night.
