Blanket ban on printing local election leaflets in Leinster House

FG and FF politicians are told to remove references to local election candidates on literature

TDs and senators have been blocked from trying to use the free Leinster House printing facility for leaflets and literature that promote local election candidates.

Some Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil politicians were told they were not allowed to feature pictures of local election candidates on their own or mention voting for them in literature submitted to the taxpayer-funded printing facility.
