It will be the first time the former Taoiseach has spoken in the House since leaving office
Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is to be invited to address the Seanad for the first time since leaving office.
He is due to speak in the Upper House on Tuesday next week about the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Good Friday Agreement.
It is another prominent invite for Ahern, who has been busy attending Good Friday Agreement anniversary celebrations in recent weeks.
