Banking inquiry members knew that the ‘context’ module was never going to produce fireworks. Inquiry chair Ciarán Lynch acknowledged as much on Thursday, saying that he was focused on “slow business” not “show business”. Nonetheless, they are conscious that if they drag it out, they could quickly lose the public’s interest.
