Key documents relating to the financial collapse, including the government’s deposit guarantee scheme, have been purged from the volumes set to be published alongside the banking inquiry’s final report.
It is understood that at least two Central Bank documents relating to key issues, and implementation of the guarantee scheme, were removed by the inquiry’s legal team.
