The property developer John Flynn has accused Ciarán Lynch, the chairman of the banking inquiry, of acting like an ‘Irish Sir Humphrey’ by not investigating alleged interest rate overcharging by the former Anglo Irish Bank.

In an email exchange obtained by The Sunday Business Post, Flynn contends that the issue of interest rate overcharging falls within the remit of the banking inquiry.
