Apartment dwellers face charges for water wastage

Apartment dwellers will be charged for wasting water under a new metering scheme.

There are close to 250,000 apartments in Ireland, according to the CSO.

Minister for Housing Simon Coveney told The Sunday Business Post that charges for wasting water will apply to apartment dwellers, as well as the 880,000 meters already installed in houses.
