The government is to launch a national economic plan next week, with a significant focus on the green economy, upskilling and providing training programmes for the unemployed.

The plan will detail how the €900 million of grants under the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience fund will be spent, after the application was approved by the cabinet last Friday.
