A Sligo equine veterinary company has signed a major licensing deal with one of the world’s leading animal health firms.

Zoetis, the world’s largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock, has acquired the name and brand of Epona Biotech’s Stablelab diagnostic equine blood test.

Stablelab is a hand-held diagnostic test that allows vets to assess the severity of an infection sooner, often before clinical symptoms become evident.
