The government’s lack of urgency in drawing up contingency plans for teacher and Garda strike actions doesn’t inspire confidence

From the day the country entered into the political unknown of a minority coalition supported by Independents and facilitated from the opposition benches by Fianna Fáil, all TDs involved waited with bated breath for the passing of the budget, which was viewed as the first big test.
