There is an emerging legal opinion that a Brexit deal could trigger a referendum here if it violates EU law or the Irish Constitution

Amidst the growing gloom in Ireland – the rise of global Trumpism and the narrative around Brexit – have the first early swallows of the spring just arrived? Out of the January gloom, quite unexpectedly, has dropped the tantalising prospect of a referendum here in Ireland on the terms agreed with Brexit and their effect on this country.
