Some media outlets’ preoccupation with the romantic lives of our politicians leaves a lot to be desired
I have problems with Leo Varadkar. Sure, it’s true that the Fine Gael leadership contender is a gifted politician and a strong candidate to become taoiseach, but for all his aptitude, sometimes he seems a little smug to me; a little too detached and comfortable in his own authority.
