SBP editorial: Varadkar must say no to harmonised corporate tax rate
Jean-Claude Juncker, the European Commission president, wants an EU-wide corporate tax rate. This presents an existential threat to Ireland’s international competitiveness at a time when it can least afford it, and it behoves the Irish government to strike a firm position on this matter.
