Charlie McCreevy’s individualisation policy is inequitable, regressive and anti-family: it is time for the government to phase it out

In 1979, the people voted to extend voting rights in Seanad elections to graduates of all third-level institutions. Here we are, 40 years later, and the decision of the people has still not been implemented. Contrast that with the government’s enthusiasm around the fairly obscure issue of blasphemy.
