If our Taoiseach has no plan to surrender his seal of office in 2017, he should reconsider

Will he go or will he stay? The question is likely to dominate political commentary over the dead days of December and early January. No matter how much An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, would wish to be allowed to enjoy the festive season with his family, there will be no escaping the speculation. Not until the inauguration of Donald Trump as US president is there likely to be much political news to distract from our domestic guessing game.
