Taking the oath of allegiance and taking their seats in the Commons would be a lie, but it may be necessary for the greater good

Mary Lou McDonald last week criticised Leo Varadkar for not having a contingency plan to protect the Good Friday Agreement “in the event of a crash Brexit”. Yet her party’s unused seven seats at Westminster could soon become a decisive factor in whether or not there is a crash Brexit.
