Will Labour reap marriage referendum rewards?

Only Wordsworth can capture the carnival of celebration that followed on from the marriage equality referendum last weekend. But would it have any effect on the political environment? Specifically, would it have any effect on the fortunes of the government? And, in particular, would there be any dividend for the principal authors of the referendum, the Labour Party?
