Toxic unpopularity of politicians not so evident on the doors

The Association of Higher Civil and Public Servants (AHCPS) organised a hustings last week on pay and reform attended by most of the political parties.

Political reform – often in public discourse reduced to Dáil reform – gets frequent attention but less often civil service reform.

The AHCPS represents over 3,000 middle managers in the public sector.
