The dreary steeples of Fermanagh and Tyrone emerge again from the gloom. And, to misquote a former taoiseach, times in the North are getting gloomier. To choose this time to walk away from devolution is especially regrettable. The North is facing its biggest peacetime challenge as Britain struggles to withdraw from the EU.
