Nobody could dispute the huge benefits that globalisation has brought to the world economy – at least in a narrow economic sense. For the opening up of global markets and bringing down of barriers to trade and movement of labour has facilitated many things which have served to make the global economy more efficient, investment more profitable, and economic growth more robust and more globally spread.
