Understanding what just happened in the last few days in Britain must mean that those who want to help create a meaningful Electoral Commission here are then able to build a tighter and more efficient rule book for Ireland’s version

Guilty! That’s the verdict of Britain's independent Electoral Commission on the official Vote Leave campaign. A full two years after the world-turning life-changing British Brexit referendum, the Commission concluded that the “evidence we have found is clear and substantial, and can now be seen in our report”. Vote Leave has insisted that the report was politically motivated and that the findings are “wholly inaccurate”.
