Holidays over, Dáil must get down to business

The Dáil should be a busy place after a three-month hiatus

The collapse of the uneasy alliance between Sinn Féin and the DUP in the North has produced some predictable reactions in Leinster House. Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are keen to ascribe some of the blame to Sinn Féin, their political opponents. But most of the blame is going to the DUP for acting as if the days of unionist majority rule could somehow be re-introduced piece by piece.
