This sandcastle government has proven to be more durable than many thought possible in May 2016. The notion that a government propped up by the opposition and comprising some chalk-and-cheese independents would be able to govern seemed far-fetched. And yet it has had its moments, aided by an economy that was in recovery before it came to office.
