The best way to fight populism is to turn down the drama and take a fresh look at reality

The mainstream media blames many factors for the rise of populism: social media; fake news; Russian trolls; Russian hacks; Cambridge Analytica; displacement of blue-collar workers by automation and by China; rising inequality, the Great Recession, austerity; the gullibility of poor people; and racism.
