Demonisation of Britain should raise alarm bells

An island to the west of Europe finds itself isolated from the continent, accused of being delusional, arrogant and selfish. The continent’s political class mocks the island’s leaders; its media ridicules them; its bureaucrats brief against them.

And where do we stand on this? That depends on which island we’re talking about.
